Yes, I know I've not been about or posting much - but to be fair, I've had a little time off of late, revising and a-studying for some exams; it's not just you, I've not much been talking to anyone.
Doesn't really mean that I'm neglecting the blog (or my New Year's Resolutions) though - I'm back here now and posting, and as I say, I've had other things on my mind. Generally speaking though, things're pretty good! As you see, there've been plenty o'trips out to the pub in January, I'm feeling good and positive about life and about how things are going in general - and would you believe I've lost a stone and a half this month?
Mind, I started out fairly (and rather terrifyingly) heftily in the first place; might sound like a lot to you, but sadly I'm thinking that it's not much more than the equivalent of a good crap and a couple of runs round the block, all considered. Still, it's good progress - and I'm eating healthier too, feeling better for it.
Which kinda segues nicely to....

There y'go, see? It's me with an orange - but in the spirit of "treating myself to something nice every so often", it's one of my favourite sorts, a Kinnow; juicy and tasty and really rather nice. Yes, they're loaded with pips - but if you're going to choose seedlessness (is this a word?) over flavour and juiciness when it comes to your citrus, then quite frankly you're a bloody idiot. Take it to the logical conclusion, why don't you, and just open a bottle of Sunny Delight or something. Anyway - I bought some of these lovely bits of kit from the Asian supermarket up the Normanton Road and I've just enjoyed one for my pud tonight. Top treat for Jim, and nothing that's going to heave the timber back on. Splendid.
But yes, those exams. Studied for them, revised for them, took them yesterday and today. Overall verdict? Well, I'm often fairly cynical, as you know - but even compensating for this, I'm not convinced they went so well...
Just see how we go then, eh?
